4 Ways to Level Up Your Wellness
Whew Chile, us women have been fighting hella battles lately. This has brought forth a whirlwind of emotions, thoughts and cares. It is important with all that we are taking in that we take care of ourselves. We have to do the work, say it loud, but also take care of us. You know how the saying goes, "you can't pour from an empty cup, Sis." Also to add to that it's time to level up your wellness game. The battles we are fighting are next level, which means we have to take our wellness to the next level. Here are 4 ways to level up your wellness.
Drink water Sis. Don't get me wrong #WineWednesdays and Friday night cocktails are a must, but it's time we take our water consumption to the next level. Drinking water helps with an array of things and is extremely healthy for you. Some of it's benefits include clearer skin, boosts to your immune system, flushes toxins and increases energy. Pour into yourself. We just told you that you can not pour from an empty cup. You have to fill yourself up Sis. Fill up your mind, body and spirit. Everyone is different, so this may look different for everyone. Some ways you can pour into yourself are reading more books, praying, meditating and pressing pause on social media. Life can become overwhelming and you can easily pour out more than you are taking in. Be sure to pour into you.
Self Care. Self care is such a broad spectrum and it looks so different for everyone also. Self care is literally caring for one's self. It's taking time for yourself to unwind, reset and relax. In this moment do your favorite relaxing activity. Here is a list of 40 self care activities you can do.
Sleep. We don't know about you but, it seems that sleep has become a thing of the past for us. Since the whole pandemic started, we have become like Kevin Gates, we don't get tired.
