Knotless braids are taking over for 99-2000s...

I don't know about ya'll but I LOVEEEEE a good protective style! If I don't have to detangle, wash, condition, and style my hair for at least 1-2 month(s) than I'm sold! Naturals have been getting protective styles since we were burning our scalps with a relaxer chile...since Janet Jackson was in Poetic Justice.

Protective styles from cornrows to box braids are our right of passage. We'll sacrifice our time (spending 4-9 hrs in the chair) and even our health by getting a migraine from the style being too tight..

I know it hasn't just been me girl! Gotta wait a few days for the ish to loose up! lol. You know! We don't care! The tightness occurs from when the stylist places a "knot" at the root of the hair. But anything to be cute...right?! Well, with Knotless braids, you won't have to worry about this! Knotless is the new IT protective style.

Why Knotless:

1. Less tension: There isn't a knot at the root of the hair (keyword: knot-less).

2. Versatility: So of course box braids are versatile as well, with knot-less we don't have to wait a week for them to loosen up girl! Wear them up in a bun the second you're finished.

3. Will possibly last a little longer than traditional box braids.

4. Looks more natural.

Knotless braids are taking over so.......

Girl, if you don't want a migraine for 48 hrs but want the same cute concept as traditional box braids than let's say it together.....KNOTLESS is the way to go. And if you're like me and would love to save a little coin, try to learn how to do them yourself girl! See the video below because youtube has never failed me. When i see you on the street, I'll make sure to say "OOOOOK, KNOTLESS! YOU CUTE BOO!"

Let me know if traditional box braids or knotless are your go-to protective style! OR if you want to try knotless! Because I do!

Signing off,

Kineatra
